Förnuftig air purifierColetteI’ve been using this purifier now for a few months and I’m really happy with how it works. For a budget priced purifier it’s great. It works well for smaller spaces & air is noticeably cleaner. Might be a little noisy for some on speed (3), but for a master sized bedroom it does the job well on 2. I usually start it on 3 a bit before bed, shut the bedroom door & let it do its thing. Then just before going to bed turn it down to 2. Works well and noise level doesn’t disturb sleep on 2. It looks great, doesn’t take up much space. Easy to move around. Cord length is practical. Love everything about it. Love the option of hanging on the wall or using with the stand. Would recommend to someone looking for a good, budget friendly purifier.

SorryMerrianneSorry , this product did not meet expectations and we found it to be loud , too loud in fact to be able to have it running overnight, the filter didn’t sit flat and kept popping out rendering the unit ineffective. Will be returning item.

Incredibly goodKateThis is the best air purifier Ive had to date and I dont say that lightly (I previously had one of those crazy expensive Amway ones).
Its super easy to put together, I didnt need to check the instructions until I got to the stand (feet?). All up around 5-10mins to put together.
Its eliminated the damp, mouldy, dust smell in the bedroom, and completely eliminates dog fart too!
Its easy to move so Ive used it in the living room as well as the kitchen to eliminate smells and smoke from cooking (this always sets off the fire alarm but not with the Förnuftig doing its thing).
I still clean the house every 2nd day as its an older home on a main road so lots of noise, dust and fumes, but since I started using the Förnuftig its been so wonderful to be able to breathe through my nose again and not have to take hayfever tablets all the time.
This air purifier exceeds my expectations.

Efficient $ affordable air purifierReeceThis air purifier does exactly what you’d expect it to. The carbon filter does a great job of removing odours from a room after cooking and is virtually silent on the lowest setting.
Filters are cheap to replace which is a bonus!

Smell be gone!!!ChiraI have an 8yr old son who has a very typical ‘boy’ smell.
Since this winter has been rather cold, our dog has been inside sleeping in his room at night.
They both produce a lot of ‘wind’, so the smell in the morning is less than ideal.
Since buying this air purifier along with a carbon filter AFTER THE FIRST NIGHT….the room smelled amazing. Not a country garden kinda smell, but not a sprayed the room with Glen20 kinda smell either.
It has definitely helped reduce the smell in his room, and the included dust and pollen filter has reduced any sneezing issues as well.
This product works so well I even bought one for my daughter. Her room is fine but she has her days.

Has PotentialMinhGood looking and relatively quiet (could be abit quieter). Bought this to help with floating dusts and pm2.5. This product doesn’t have a True HEPA filter nor does Ikea sell them. The included EPA12 filter is fine but it would be better if Ikea sell a more expensive filter but is True HEPA for better filtration. Surely people will be willing to spend the extra cash.
Does what it says wellNigelThe wall mounting templated encouraged me to wall mount it. It is quiet enough to run 24/7 and it has already reduced the musty scent of the air in that room. I bought the charcoal filter as well as the base HEPA unit and I think it works well. Only draws about 14W to run.
Great value for moneyMikeFantastic little air purifier! I would definitely recommend getting the optional gas filter for added functionality. Pretty much inaudible on the lowest setting for night time use.

Fresh!Anonymous reviewerHappy with this product! Easy to assemble, reasonably priced and seems to improve air quality when using regularly. Isn't too noisy (but obviously louder with increased speed level)- for us became 'white/ background noise'. Would recommend purchasing additional filters (helped with cooking smells) & air quality sensor to get a good indication on air quality changes.
