A light-warm, super-fluffy duvet with box-stitch pattern that allows air and heat to pass through. Weightless feel with 90% down/10% feather filling that surrounds you in pure luxury and well-being.

Product details

A light warm duvet in soft, dobby woven cotton, filled with 90% duck down and 10% feathers.

The box-stitch pattern allows air and heat to pass through giving you a comfortable sleeping climate.

Panel stitched with intermediate walls to keep the filling light and fluffy, and to keep it in place.

A good choice if you often feel warm while sleeping.

The duvet is machine-washable at 60°C, a temperature that kills dust mites.

The duvet is sold in a cotton drawstring bag so you can roll it up and pack it away when not in use. You can also use the bag as a laundry tote or for storing other personal belongings.

    Thread count indicates the number of threads per square inch of fabric. The higher the thread count the more densely woven the fabric.

    Down and feathers are natural materials that sometimes have a slight smell. The smell is harmless and fades over time. Airing or washing , and drying it thoroughly in a dryer, helps the smell fade faster.

    Tumble dry after washing until the filling is completely dry.

    This product is suitable for use in smaller hotels, inns and B&Bs as the design and material are optimised for frequent use and washing.

    This product is flammability tested and complies with standard EN ISO 12952-1.

    This product is flammability tested in accordance to standard CAN/CGSB 4.2 No 27.5 and meets the requirement of flame spread time ≥7.1 sec.

Down QuiltJenniferBeautifully light warm just right! This is the 3rd down quilt I’ve purchased from IKEA over the years so I’ve known how great Ikea down quilts are. BUT This one came in draw string bag, tightly rolled to fit. Immediately open started coughing & sneezing. I hung the quilt out for 3 clear weather days to ? Remove dust ? Contaminants Etc. this quilt had no packaging like a ‘plastic’ cover protection from dust / contamination. IKEA knows the quality of the down & fabrics used. I hope my feedback can help in future products. Overall: fantastic light warmth as stated. Big disappointment with quality of contents and packaging used. If I was an asthmatic / allergy sufferer etc I’d have to get rid of it. It works great as expected given the light warm rating, hence the 5 stars2

Material

How to care for your down/feather duvet

With a little care, you can prolong the life of your down/feather duvet and keep it fresh. The filling has a natural smell which can be reduced by airing or washing. Wash the duvet separately with a mild detergent (1/3 of the normal amount) on delicate cycle at 60°C. Avoid bleach/fabric softeners. Tumble dry immediately on low heat. A dryer ball or a high-quality tennis ball in the dryer will ensure more efficient drying. Air your duvet regularly, if possible, in direct sunlight.
