Hideaway for your childCassandraThis does not fit a king single, and I forgot to measure beforehand, BUT... My son loves it. We still put it at the pillow end of his bed with pillows and big stuffed toys to keep it down. He even liked sleeping in his own bed for the first time. It's also being used as a Hideaway p the floor with his bean bag in it at the end of his bed. Great product, thanks Ikea!5
An amazing cocoon to regulate and closeout the worldKimMy 14 year old son bought this. I thought it was an expensive ridiculous quirk. Turns out It has been transformational in unexpected ways. It helps him regulate, he sleeps better, he has a safe space. Game changer!5

Difficult to assembleVivianneThe holes for inserting the pole could be made easier to find. And I am not sure if it's just the one I have got, the "pushing the pole in at the end" bit is really difficult. It should allow more flexibility there.2
Harder to fit than thoughtKarenLoved this in store. Didn't really notice or think about the bed/mattress it was on in-store. When we've gone to install it at home it has been very difficult. Our daughters mattress is an Ikea spring mattress, not a foam one that is easy to bend and we found it hard to pull onto the mattress over the fitted sheet and mattress protector. It's on but it's harder to open and close than it was in-store. I would still recommend, just buyer beware :)3

This product is great for a mattress that doesn’t fit into a frame like my grandsons mattress does. Poles tend to jam up between the mattress and frame. Still a great idea.4
