The max load for a wall-hung cabinet depends on the wall material.

Different wall materials require different types of fixing devices. Use fixing devices suitable for the walls in your home, sold separately.

Ensure that you have a minimum of 5 cm between the top of the frame and the ceiling. This is needed to be able to mount the frame to the suspension rail.

Eket "Box" Wall ShelfPhillipWe are delighted with our EKET Box Shelf! The hidden hanging bracket is a very neat solution ( it recesses behind the back-panel of the wall-box), being very secure and entirely hidden. We chose this unit to match the colour of our Ikea PAX wardrobe frames in the same bedroom. The wall-box comes in two depths. WE used two full depth boxes, and one which is more shallow. We have one either side of our bed, and one on a wall opposite the foot of our bed, which has a small stereo system inside it, and a base-station for a cordless phone - we used an EKET glas door on this unit (the others have a cane fronted insert basket).5
good for priceWaqasIts not very sturdy, given that its not timber, but for the price it is good, and hangs well, although hollow walls will always play a trick, IKEA needs to consider wall types including one's with metal studs, though i must say, engineering and trying to put all the tools needed in one package has come a long way.4
