You can always have your baby close by since the bassinet is easy to move around and stays securely in place as soon as you lock the 4 wheels.
The bassinet has just the right height for you to easily reach your baby.
Small holes in the fabric allow air to circulate in the bassinet and make it possible for you to keep an eye on your baby.
The mesh fabric can be removed and washed.
If you want to create a complete children's room in the same style, you can combine the cot with the ÄLSKVÄRD changing table – they match each other perfectly.

Cannot remove mesh to wash without taking apartKristyI'm actually using this to keep my puppies contained when drying them after a bath, and then put something solid on top to use as a rolling storage table.
The quality is great a little finicky to put together otherwise sturdy once done. Make sure to have a paper clip or something to use like a zippier as it doesn't have a handle for a seamless design I suppose.
In hindsight it's not very easy to store (assuming you use it for a baby it will eventually grow out of it), since you have to take it completely apart if you want to. Luckily I'm using it for multiple purposes.
Down side is you cannot remove the mesh to clean without taking it apart.
