Welcome to the IKEA Planning studio, where we are open for all visitors to browse our showroom and get inspiration and ideas for your home. We offer one-on-one consultation services for kitchen design, bedroom & bathroom solutions, small space living solutions and so much more. Book an appointment and sit down with our expert planners while they design, quote, and order your IKEA goods. Don’t worry about lugging furniture – there is no stock at our studio because we conveniently deliver all goods directly to your home.

IKEA Planning studio FAQs
The IKEA Planning studio allows you to design your living space with the help of an IKEA planner. We are appointment-based, offering one-on-one in-person or virtual consultation services for any area of the home. The difference between an IKEA store and the IKEA Planning studio is that you do not take products home with you. Instead, you discover the look and style for your living space, design it with the help of an IKEA planner, and then have the products shipped directly to your home.
We are unable to accept physical returns at the IKEA Planning studio. Any IKEA items purchased can be conveniently returned by visiting our other Los Angeles locations: IKEA Burbank, IKEA Carson, IKEA Costa Mesa, IKEA Covina or by contacting us here.
The IKEA Planning studio is open for all visitors to browse our showroom and get inspiration and ideas for your home. Those who would like to plan or purchase can make an appointment in advance here. We have taken all safety precautions to maintain social distancing during appointments.
IKEA offers a wide range of useful services to help you purchase, transport, and assemble your products. Services available include Delivery, Taskrabbit Assembly, Click & Collect, Kitchen Services & Planners and other planning tools.
IKEA offers a flat rate online delivery service to your home or business starting at $5 for small item shipping and $49 for large item deliveries. With this service, your merchandise can be placed in a room of choice at no additional cost. Assembly services are available for in-store and online purchases. Our products are designed to be assembled by you. That way, you’ll save the most money. However, we've teamed up with TaskRabbit to provide even more options to assemble your IKEA furniture. Learn more here.
The Click & Collect service is available at all IKEA store locations and IKEA Arcadia Planning studio (the service is not available at the IKEA Long Beach Planning studio). Once everything has been added to your online shopping cart, select Click & Collect at check-out to find a participating IKEA store near you.
Gift cards, debit cards and credit cards are all acceptable forms of payment in the studio, including the IKEA Projekt card and IKEA credit card.
