Care
The best way to extend the life of your wooden outdoor furniture is by cleaning it regularly and not leaving it outdoors unprotected more than necessary.
Clean: Use a mild soapy solution. Wipe dry with a clean dry cloth.
Maintenance: To prevent the surface from drying out and cracking, and moisture from penetrating into the wood, we recommend you to re-stain the furniture on a regular basis, for example once or twice a year.
Storing: If possible, store in a cool dry place indoors. If the furniture is stored outside, cover it with a waterproof cover. After a rain or snowfall, wipe off excess water or snow from flat surfaces. Allow air to circulate to avoid condensation.
To increase the stability of your furniture, re-tighten the screws at least once per season.

Great bathroom storagePeggyI needed extra storage in my bathroom but I didn't want to mount cabinets to the wall. I had seen this online while browsing and it was featured in a bathroom. Wood splits easily JacobI have dealt with a lot of acacia. The wood in this product splits particularly easily. I was able to use waterproof wood glue and repair it, but heads up, do not even remotely overtighten anything on this. You are better off using a dab of wood glue where each piece joins, then use the fasteners just to hold it in place while the glue cures. For the money, a little disappointed, even though it is aesthetically great.

Very convenient pieceMorganI would have liked it to be a bit longer so it fills the double window in my apartment building. Having said that, I love this piece. I used it as a potting stand with a basin on the shelf to catch dirt and that worked wonderfully. Now it has plants on top, empty pots on the shelf, and I keep my extra soil and fertilizer hidden behind the doors. It really checked a lot of boxes for me. I would recommend having a drill or automatic screwdriver handy as some of these were a beast to get in. It would also be nice if there were just 2-3 words on the directions like, "DON'T screw this in all the way yet" but hey, you live and learn. This doesn't get rained on much so I can't say how it would hold up.

Why not return it? I’m a millennial who already built it and bringing it back to the store assembled would cause more work than just dealing with it.
difficult to assembleTiffanyI really wanted this piece for outdoors and while the look and size is exactly what I wanted, this had to be the most difficult piece of IKEA furniture I have ever assembled. Something about the hardness of the material and the screws not lining up quite right made it so incredibly difficult to screw the many many pieces in.

Perfect Coffee Bar on the PatioKarlCompletely made of wood, the shelf is significantly more sturdy than it appears. We use this shelf as a coffee bar on the patio. Supplies are kept in a plastic bin behind the doors out of sight. The coffee maker sits on top making a second cup easy. Friends and guests marvel at the usage.
