It’s a shape that’s used throughout the series, from chairs to tables. “The frame gives NÄMMARÖ a uniform and contemporary look. It’s also modular thinking that simplifies the production and lowers the cost. And since NÄMMARÖ doesn’t have any curved shapes, the products are easy to pack in flat packages.” It contributes to a lower price and saves valuable space during transport – all the way from the factory to the customer’s home.

Great CrateErinThis is a simple little crate good for outdoor storage. We bought 2 and they're working nicely so far. Assembly is somewhat easy. Not a lot of pieces to put together, but you have to make sure all the holes are carved out so the screws slide in well. Once you get that set it's a breeze.

* the lid has no hinges. I plan to buy & try to install my own, but no hinge is a hassle.
* I wish Ikea offered casters for more products. The framing is 1.25", but it's beveled, so more like 1". It will be a real challenge for me to install casters, but I really do need them.
I also bought the Nammaro with the shelf, but it was a complete PAIN to get it and I could not seem to get the Ikea website to allow me to purchase two. That product is sturdier and nicer, so definitely disappointing to have the features of this piece lacking by comparison.
