Great for little onesBrandonMy 16 month old loves climbing onto and sitting on this stool. He uses it with the FLISAT Kids Table. Being a toddler, he also loves standing on it, so be careful.5
LOVE!!!!KristenThis stool is not only cut but functional! It's so easy to install, just screw on the legs. No tools needed! It's perfect for my sons table.5
Great Features, colorTittuI bought last week. It's really strong enough5
Wish they were just a little betterBBG4We got 2 of these stools to go with the matching table, which they fit perfectly under. We bought them about 2 yrs ago and loved them at first. We use them daily. These are still very good but we have had some issues. One of the stools started to wobble. I thought a leg was loose but it was not. All were screwed in tight but one, which would not tighten at all. I wondered how the screw became striped? I took off the metal piece that was attached to the seat top at the factory and found that the wood under it was split and a piece was broken off. I took it back and the store allowed me to replace it with a new one. We have not had the same problem since, but now the stools do not match. The new one seems to have a slightly different finish and is lighter than the old one. The old one has developed a patina and being a soft wood it shows its age. It is annoying that they stools no longer match. Part of me wishes I had just tried to repair the old broken one. Otherwise, our daughter loves it. They were bought when she was 2 and she is almost 5 yrs old. They still work great for her age/size. Despite our issues, I would still recommend this product.3
Quite sturdy!yml210I purchased stool for my 6 year old grandson to sit on while building lego designs on an Ikea Strofast unit. Works great and is sturdy enough to hold a 13 year old!5
IKEAs Fanit is very slippery on wooden floor. Should be ok on carpet.1
Beautiful stoolsJennyUWI got the stool for my toddler son. I didn’t realize it could be so versatile. As it is so light and sturdy, he moves it around and uses it as a stepping stool to reach for things. I also uses it when bathing him, such a relief to my back and legs. This stool not only practice, its design is sleek and modern. I have seen designers use them in archetecure magazines.5
Just right!fessel59My son bought one of these to coordinate with the table he purchased for his son. My grandson sat on the stool when we played and I felt I needed to sit on one also. So I got another one. This one matches the first one perfectly!5
Perfect size!Kikibird82Bought two of these stools for my kids playroom (7 & 4) to go with the white Mammut table since I liked it’s look better than the Flisat tables. They work beautifully together in terms of size and seat height for the mammut table and both my kids ages/sizes. I wanted low profile stools so they can store under the table when not in use. These are very sturdy little stools!!5
MadzakulBroke half after just falling over. We had to return and replace it with a new one. Kids love it and it useful. I hope it was just a faulty one.2
Great!AlyjOur girls are 2 and 4. These little stools are great. Surprisingly my wild two year old has not tipped them over or fallen! Five stars!5
Cute, but short-lived...SAHMI bought these because they are cute and match our natural wood! Pros: They supposedly can hold the weight of an adult, will last longer than the smaller toddler chairs (the child won't grow out of it as quickly), and allow for imaginative play in our house! Con: A week after purchase, my 17 month-old son managed to pull one of the legs off, breaking the leg off at the joint screwed on by Ikea. (Not a user error.) They hadn't been used for very long and only by our 17 month old (26 lbs). Now I'm looking into how to fix this! Hopefully this isn't a widespread problem.2
Broke Nearly InstantlyElwoodMy son is 2 1/2 and weighs about 26 pounds. He was sitting on this about a week after we bought it, leaned forward, one leg instantly failed at the connection (the fastener to the wood connection done by ikea at the factory, not the connection you would make as a customer/assembler) and he fell and cried. I'm a 20 year veteran contractor and assembled exactly it as they advise.1
LoveSam_34Very sturdy stool. Easy to put together and works well for a table in our play room. It's strong enough to hold a 200lb man standing on it. worth every penny5
Sturdy and compactGypsy7Bought it for the purpose of an strengthening exercise. Turned out pretty good. Ver yeasy to assemble.5
Perfect as a small side tableFoobeanWandered around Ikea looking for a tiny and low side table to use next to a very low chaise lounge. Even though there were many options, everything was a bit too large and tall. As I was leaving, I spotted this tiny stool at a tiny desk in the children's area. Just perfect! Feels solid and has a lovely finish. Can't say how it would stand up to a toddler, but it's a perfect side table for a low lounger.5
great stool!twincities2010We've been using a couple of these in our child's room and they work really well. Sturdy enough for an adult to sit on, too. The rounded edges/ends are kids-friendly.5
Used it as a little side tableLPlanAre use this as a little side table in a reading nook next to my son's Poang chair. It's a perfect size just to put a few books on and fill some space.5
Perfect stools for preschoolersLuckyMonkeyThe stools are sturdy, look good and blend with any decor. They are sturdy enough that can hold an adult in a pinch if needed. Note that I found these stools too tall for an average-size toddler.5
