TableNancyThis is the perfect size and shape for out room.5
So happy do farPatrickWe just purchased the table a few weeks ago. I had read people having trouble assembling it, but I experienced no trouble at all. It didn’t take long to put together. Outside of a hammer for 4 floor guards, the only tool needed was the allen wrench that comes with it.
The table itself is quite striking, and dense! The solid wood top is particularly wonderful - and an absolute steal when we got it on sale. (I definitely recommend it even at regular ptice too!).
The only problem - not a real one - is now we have to upgrade our chairs to match the class and quality of the table.
My only complaint / warning is that the color is a shade or two darker than appears on website. So, if you want matching chairs, might want to order after you see table.
Speaking of appearance, there is a designed opening that runs down the middle of the table. I am already accustomed to it, but was definitely taken aback a little when I first put it together.5
Assembly is impossibleJesseLike the previous reviewer Lindsay, I’m also stuck on the second bolts in step 3. Using brute force as they suggested worked for one of them but I’ve been stuck on the last bolt for nearly 2 hours. My hand is so bruised that if I quit now it’ll be several days before I can try again. Assembly looks like it should be fairly easy and I have no idea why this isn’t working. Anyway, good luck to the rest of y’all.1
BeautifulRameeCannot rate the assembly - had a taskrabbit help. It's a gorgeous table that I get so many compliments on and people can't believe it's at that price point from Ikea. I like the chair + bench look and wish there was a matching bench in the same finish to go with it. I recommend it. Note - for 4 people it's not really enough room for everyone to have dinner plates AND 2-3 serving dishes.5
NackanasRodneyGreat table, looks fantastic 5
PerfectAmyPerfect size for our kitchen. The quality is great as well. One of the easiest pieces to put together as well.5
FitsVanessaIt fits our family of six. The pedestal legs are nice because you can fit 3 seats on each side without bumping into any table legs. The bar across the bottom has a nice foot rest too. The beautiful acacia wood looks great on its own and children’s messes are easy to clean. Very easy to assemble. The table had to be picked up offsite and it easily fit in a minivan.5
Color Not What It Appears To Be!AaronThe website makes it look like a cool pale wood tone with grey. Very neutral. It is actually a bright yellow pine color with brown and almost no hints of grey. Very yellow.1
great looking table! not tooLiviagreat looking table! not too big5
Nice non toxic tableAlexMy wife has back chemical allergies. We purchased this in the hopes we could use it right away instead of waiting for it to offgas. We got it home and she has had no symptoms from it at all. It's beautiful too!4
Beautiful TableShawnPurchased this table from local IKEA. I’m using it for a desk. This thing is a beautiful piece of furniture.5
Difficult assemblyLindsayFirst the pros, this table is made from all wood, has a nice modern rustic look and works perfect in a smaller space. For this price point it’s hard to find something like this and for that I would buy again. Cons, the assembly seemed simple enough, but on step 3 we could not get the second set of bolts on either side to go in. Holes were lined up, I could see them with a flashlight, and the top bolts went in fine. It took me pushing down with all of my weight while turning to finally get them to catch and stay in. None of the other bolts gave me any trouble. Second, there are metal support plates under the table, and the way they are cut leaves some exposed sharp edges. I could easily see one of my kids running a hand under the table and slicing themselves. I ran a line of clear caulk over the edges and that seems to have covered the area, but ikea should really look into having some sort of cap on those.3
Assembly was tough, exposed sharp metal edgeLindsayI love the look and size of the table. It fits perfectly into a small dining space between our kitchen and family room. I also love that it’s solid wood which is hard to find at this price point. My reason for taking off two stars is for two things. First, the assembly should have been very easy, but we had a heck of a time getting the second bolts in step 3 to go into the holes. On both sides we could get the top bolt in just fine, but the bottom one would not take until I used a ton of force while turning. I can’t figure out why, everything was lined up and I could see the hole, the darn bolt just did not want to go in. Also, another reason I took off a star was the sharp metal edges on the supports under the table. I could easily see my kids running their hands along the underside and getting cut. I applied a thin line of clear caulk along the exposed edge for protection. Overall I would buy again, but I wish I had known about the issues I came across.3
Nackanas table reviewLaurelWe had to find a sturdy table that multi tasks in our tiny home. This table is very easy to assemble. It is very sturdy and a good size for us. Husband now works from home so this is his office workspace, as well as a dining table when we have company, plus my sewing table when I work on quilts at home. Highly recommend!!!5
