What can I do to get my MITTZON, BEKANT, IDÅSEN sit/stand desk working properly again?
We sell electrically adjustable desks (such as MITTZON, BEKANT, IDÅSEN) that you can work on while sitting or standing. If your desk is not cooperating, you can always try to reset it yourself first. This solves most problems immediately.
First check the assembly manual of your products for the most common troubleshooting errors. If none of them work, see the options below:
MITTZON
- Poke the pinhole at the bottom of the hand controller with a pin to enter the reset status (at this time, the orange light will be steady on)
- Long press the down button until the table goes down to the lowest height
- Raise it up 4 mm automatically to complete the reset.
- After the reset is successful, the orange light will turn off.
BEKANT
- Check that the key is fully inserted. Then remove the plug from the socket and plug it in again after 10 seconds.
- If this doesn't work, you can still try to reset the desk by holding down both buttons for at least 10 seconds.
- Does the desk just no longer go up? Then lower the desk all the way (if possible), then it will rise again if all goes well.
IDÅSEN
- Check that the power plug is properly inserted.
- Slide the adjustment knob down.
- Lower the table to the lowest position and keep the adjustment button pressed for at least 6 seconds after both table legs have reached the bottom position.
- In some cases this process must be carried out twice in succession.
- Press and hold the adjustment button on the device for 10 seconds. This will remove all paired Bluetooth devices.
- Re-pair device via Bluetooth: Use the Desk Control app or download it from the iOS App Store/Google Play Store (app by LINAK). The app will guide you through the process of installing your desk controller. Once the Bluetooth connection is established, the blue LED will stop flashing.
RODULF
- Perform a reset by pressing and holding the Up and Down buttons together for at least 8 seconds.
- Hold down the buttons and the table will slowly move to the lowest possible point.
- The reset is complete when the desk has stopped at the lowest point.
- The maximum load of the desk is 80 kg and must not be overloaded.
- The system can be used continuously for a maximum of 1 minute.
- The motors need to rest for about 9 minutes before you can adjust the height of the desk again.
UPPSPEL
- Press and hold the down arrow for a few seconds until the desk reaches its lowest position.
- Press and hold the down arrow again until the display shows "RST".
- Press and hold the down arrow a third time until the desk slowly moves downward. When the desk stops moving and the display shows "72", your desk is ready for use.
- Locking/Unlocking the controls:
- To lock the controls: Press and hold the minus symbol (-) for 10 seconds until the display shows "LOC".
- To unlock the controls: Press and hold the minus symbol (-) for 10 seconds until the display shows the actual height of the desk.
