What is the difference between the FLYSTA and KALLAX cabinets?

The KALLAX and FLYSTA cabinets are useful for storing your things in your living room or at your study- or workplace. Both cabinets are very similar in appearance, but they are different in terms of dimensions and possibilities.

Size
The cabinets are almost the same height and width. You can find the exact dimensions in the product information of the cabinet of your choice. The size of the compartments of the cupboard also differ:

  • The KALLAX compartments are 33.6 cm by 33.6 cm.
  • The FLYSTA compartments are 30.3 cm (heighth) and 30.1 cm (width).

Accessories
We have a number of storage solutions for the KALLAX cabinet: baskets, doors, drawers and shelf dividers. These accessories have been designed to fit the compartments of the KALLAX cabinets and can’t be used in a FLYSTA cabinet.
