Is this promotion or e-mail from IKEA?
Safety is very important for us, therefore we would like to warn you: IKEA does not use SMS or WhatsApp for contests. We recommend that you always check the sender of the e-mail. Official IKEA e-mails can be recognized by the sender using the e-mail addresses @IKEA.com, @IKEA.nl, or other e-mail domains that end with IKEA. E-mail addresses are not case sensitive, so all senders ending in .ikea.co.uk or .ikea.com are also safe. Not sure? Give us a call!
There are regular contests circulating via email, Facebook or text message that are not from IKEA. Often a makeover, voucher or coupon is offered in these. In these so-called 'phishing' or 'spam' campaigns, the IKEA name and logo are misused to collect personal data or to take money from you. IKEA Netherlands Facebook contests are always directly linked to our Facebookpage or to IKEA.nl.
What should I do if I receive a phishing e-mail?
If you see or receive these types of fake promotions: ignore and delete them. Don't click on the link, don't call the phone numbers listed, and don't forward them to others.
If after reading this information you still have doubts about the authenticity of an e-mail or (win) promotion from IKEA, please contact us.
