Can I cut worktops and wall panels to size myself?
Sometimes a custom worktop or wall panel does not fit exactly, or you want to make a change in the design after your products have already been delivered. If your custom work is made of laminate or wood, it is possible to adjust it yourself. We strongly advise against adjusting these products for other materials.
You can work on a custom worktop or wall panel made of laminate or wood yourself. In fact, in many situations, you will even have to work on a new worktop yourself, because factory cutouts are only partially pre-cut to ensure that the worktop is not vulnerable to falls and bumps during transport.
Always make sure to read the supplied instructions for cutting worktops and wall panels carefully to avoid damage.
Custom work made of quartz composite, ceramic, or glass
We strongly advise against working on these products yourself. Due to the composition of this material, the risk of cracking or breaking is greater than with laminate and wood. In addition, fine particles can be released during the processing of these materials, which can potentially be harmful.
