What is included with an IKEA worktop or wall panel?
For the METOD base cabinets, screws are included. These can be used to attach the countertop to the base cabinets with your own tools. Wall fittings for mounting your wall panels, silicone sealant, glue, a condensation protector, masking tape, and other (small) tools are not included with the products.
Since a standard countertop usually needs to be cut to fit your kitchen, each countertop comes with one extra edging strip to finish the cut edge. Custom countertops are ordered to your specific measurements and are therefore already fully finished.
Does your custom worktop consist of different parts? Then you will receive a coupling set with which you can link the worktops together. You will need your own glue or sealant. Does your custom countertop consist of multiple parts? Then you will receive a connecting kit with your custom laminate or wood veneer countertop to join the countertops together. You will still need glue or sealant.
Have you ordered a custom countertop with an integrated sink? Then you will also receive mounting materials for the sink with your custom countertop. The sink and the LILLVIKEN siphon need to be ordered separately.
