How do I order small spare parts?
You can order small spare parts using the Order spare parts tool, Purchases page in your IKEA Family account or at Customer Service desks in IKEA stores.
Small spare parts have a 6-8 digit identification code (also known as a spare part number) and are listed in the first few pages of the products’ assembly instructions. A physical copy of the assembly instructions are included with the product. If you don’t have this copy, you can also find it online by searching for the product on the IKEA website. Then, go to the product page and click Product details, then Assembly and documents to access the assembly instructions.
Once you have the spare part number, you can order it through the Order spare parts tool on our website. This tool is not available in the IKEA App.
The “Order spare parts” button will not appear if:
- the product does not contain any spare parts in the packaging
- the product is out-of-stock or has been discontinued
- you have cancelled or returned the order
If you need the spare part urgently, most IKEA stores (except Plan & Order Points) also have a small spare parts selection available at the Customer Service desks, usually located near the entrance or exit of the store. Stock availability may vary and cannot be checked. If the part is in stock, you can take it home immediately. If the spare part is not in stock, a co-worker will help you to order the spare part and arrange a delivery for you.
If you need spare parts for IKEA products that have been discontinued, please Contact us. A co-worker will help you to check for the parts you need, their availability and cost, and order it for you if needed. Make sure to have the product information ready before reaching out.
You can choose to have your small spare parts delivered to your home. Delivery for small spare parts generally take up to 10 business days and is free of charge.
After ordering your small spare parts, you will receive a confirmation email. However, it is not possible for you or an IKEA co-worker to track the order as they are delivered to your home via regular letter post.
