What is the difference between a steam oven and an oven with steam function?
A steam oven can steam meals completely with 100% steam. An oven with steam function always uses the hot air function together with the steam function.
Some ovens, such as the KULINARISK series, are available both as a steam oven and as a regular oven with steam function. This seems the same, yet there are important differences.
First of all, a steam oven is smaller in size than a hot air oven. A steam oven can also steam meals completely without the need for precooking. In a steam-powered oven, the steam function is only a supporting function in addition to the hot air heating.
The steam function ensures that the meal remains juicier and airier and does not dry out in the oven.
