Why is IKEA changing it's prices?
At IKEA, we always strive to keep prices low. Since the beginning of the pandemic, IKEA has managed to bypass some of these obstacles. Sometimes, due to rising costs, we have to decide to increase prices, but as soon as it is possible, we will always lower our prices!
Affordability is and remains important for IKEA, with the focus always on a product range that is affordable for as many people as possible.
Due to the significantly increased inflation caused by rising costs for energy, raw materials, packaging materials, and transportation, price increases in a part of our assortment and services are unfortunately unavoidable. Since the end of 2023, these costs have decreased and we can now lower the prices again for a large part of our range!
We closely follow social developments and inflationary pressures and continue to take initiatives to keep our prices as low as possible, wherever possible.
