How can I pay at IKEA?
At IKEA, we think everyone deserves a well-designed, functional home – and that paying for it shouldn’t be difficult. That’s why we have multiple payment options for in-store and online shopping.
Payment options online
- iDeal - Pay via the trusted online payment environment of your bank.
- Apple Pay - If you have added a credit card to your Apple Wallet, you can use it to pay on the website.
- Visa, MasterCard & American Express - The amount will be reserved on your credit card and debited once your order is confirmed. When paying with a credit card, we will ask you to enter the 3D Secure Code. If you do not have a 3D Secure Code yet, you will be automatically redirected to your credit card company's website to create one.
- PayPal
- 3 instalments via Oney - Pay in 3 instalments; the 1st today, the 2nd in a month, and the 3rd in two months.
- Gift or credit card* - Pay with the IKEA gift or credit card in our webshop. Enter the card number of your gift or credit card in your shopping cart and see if you need to pay a remaining amount. You can check the balance of your gift card here.
- Pay later via Klarna - Pay within 30 days after delivery of your order. Within 1 week after delivery, you will receive your invoice from Klarna by email. You then have 30 days to pay the amount to Klarna via iDeal or bank transfer. Klarna can currently only be chosen as a payment method for orders up to € 10.000. When a customer wants to pay part of the order with a gift card or store credit, it is not possible to pay the remaining amount with KLARNA.
(Note: Post-payment via Klarna is not available for business customers) - Deferred payment for IKEA for Business Network members - With an IKEA for Business network account, you can request this payment method.
Payment options in store
- Apple Pay - If you have added a credit or debit card to your Apple Wallet, you can use it to make contactless payments in the store.
- Visa, MasterCard & American Express
- Maestro or Vpay debit cards - pay with your physical card or with your Apple Pay Wallet.
- Gift or credit card*
- Cash - At the self-scan checkouts, you can pay with cash. At regular checkouts (only available at IKEA Delft), you can only pay with a debit or credit card.
At the cash registers you can see which banknotes you can pay with. Only bills up to and including €200 are accepted. We accept a maximum of € 2999.- in cash per transaction.
