Legal conditions

Conditions for the extra valuation in Buyback at the IKEA Badalona, ​​IKEA L'Hospitalet de Llobregat and IKEA Sabadell stores.  

Promotion offered by IKEA IBÉRICA SAU with Tax Identification Number A28812618 and registered office at Avenida Matapiñonera, No. 9, 28703, San Sebastián de los Reyes (Madrid). Registered in the Mercantile Registry of Madrid in Volume 1251, Section 8, Folio 102, Page 23549 (hereinafter, “IKEA”).

Exclusively on Fridays, May 8, 15, 22 and 29, 2026, IKEA customers who are members of the IKEA Family Club can receive an extra 10% on top of the initial valuation for selling their second-hand IKEA items through the IKEA Buyback program, exclusively at IKEA Badalona, ​​IKEA L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, and IKEA Sabadell stores. Specifically, IKEA Family members will receive an additional 10% on top of IKEA's final valuation of the product. This percentage will be applied to the final price offered by IKEA at the time of the physical valuation of the product at the IKEA store.

Additionally, if you use the buyback service with home collection, available for certain postal codes in Catalonia, IKEA Family Club members will receive an extra €20 on top of the initial valuation. This €20 bonus will only be added to the initial valuation if you use the buyback service with home collection and, after IKEA's subsequent inspection, the product meets IKEA's acceptance requirements.

Therefore, the “General Terms and Conditions for the Purchase of Second-Hand IKEA Items by IKEA” and the “Terms and Conditions for Reselling Your IKEA Furniture with Home Collection in Catalonia” apply in full to this promotion if the buyback service, including home collection, is used. Regarding the mechanics of the promotion, there are two scenarios, depending on the buyback service the IKEA Family member chooses to repurchase their second-hand IKEA goods:  

Purchase by IKEA of second-hand items, whose legal conditions are regulated in the link https://www.ikea.com/es/en/files/pdf/b2/5f/b25f88d2/terminos-y-condiciones-recompra.pdf ;

In this case, when an IKEA Family member wishes to take advantage of the 10% trade-in bonus stipulated herein, they must have the pre-appraisal of the IKEA pre-owned product carried out, taking into account its condition, as indicated in the "IKEA Pre-Owned Product Offer" section of the aforementioned terms and conditions. This pre-appraisal is in no way binding on IKEA, either regarding the purchase of the product or its price.

Once the initial appraisal is completed, the IKEA Family member must physically visit the IKEA Badalona, ​​IKEA L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, or IKEA Sabadell store, where IKEA staff will conduct a physical appraisal of the product. At that time, IKEA will issue the final appraised value of the product. Then, if the product meets the requirements of this promotion, IKEA will calculate an additional 10% on that value to apply the promotion. The final price, after applying the promotion, will be included in the sales contract between the IKEA Family member (SELLER) and IKEA and will be the price shown on the IKEA Gift Card that the SELLER will receive upon completion of the sale.

In order for this promotion to apply, the IKEA Family member (SELLER) must go in person to formalize the sale at the aforementioned establishments, having previously carried out the appraisal, during the period of validity of the promotion, that is, the Fridays 8, 15, 22 and 29 of May, 2026 specified at the beginning of these.

If using the buyback service with home collection, IKEA Family members must follow the procedure outlined in the terms and conditions referenced earlier in this section. For the purposes of this promotion, IKEA will only consider those "Second Life" forms indicated in the "Used IKEA Products Offer" section of the aforementioned terms and conditions, and which are received by IKEA during the promotion period, specifically on Fridays, 8, 15, 22 and 29 of May, 2026, as specified at the beginning of these terms and conditions.

In this case, the promotion (€20 extra for using the service) will be applied to the appraised value that IKEA informs the IKEA Family member of after IKEA has gathered information from the member by phone regarding the condition of the pre-owned IKEA product. The final price, after applying the promotion, will be shown in the sales contract between the IKEA Family member (SELLER) and IKEA and will be the price delivered on the IKEA Gift Card that the SELLER will receive once the sale is finalized, provided that, after subsequent verification of the product by IKEA, it meets the requirements set out in the section "Physical Valuation of Items by IKEA" of the terms and conditions for acceptance by IKEA.

IKEA expressly reserves the right to make any modifications, additions, or subsequent annexes to the promotion that it deems appropriate, provided that they are justified or do not harm the recipients of the promotion, and are duly communicated to them.

What valuation will I receive for my furniture?

After receiving the photos of the products to ensure they can be accepted as Second Life articles, you will receive a valuation of 30% of the selling price of each item. 

Collection conditions

Collection from the customer’s home will be free of charge. Our staff will be responsible for collecting the furniture. You only need to make sure that the furniture is properly packed and that its dimensions allow removal through the doorway, lift, or stairs. If the dimensions of the furniture do not allow correct removal, it must be disassembled to facilitate the service. The furniture to be collected must fit through the main door of the home and through the stairs or lift, if applicable.

Refund card conditions

Once we receive the furniture, we will send you the refund card with the amount previously agreed upon in the purchase contract. The refund card has no expiration date and can be used for any of your IKEA purchases, whether in-store, on the website, or in the app.

Terms and conditions of the home furniture transport service of the Circular Market.

FIRST. – Purpose

This document governs the terms and conditions of use of the HOME FURNITURE TRANSPORT SERVICE OF THE CIRCULAR MARKET (hereinafter, the “Service”) between IKEA IBÉRICA, S.A.U., with registered address at Avenida Matapiñonera 9, 28703 San Sebastián de los Reyes (Madrid), Tax ID A-28812618 (hereinafter, “IKEA”), and the customer who accesses the Service in the IKEA stores where it is available (hereinafter, the “Customer”).

IKEA reserves the right to modify this document at any time, and therefore the Customer is advised to read it before using the Service.

SECOND. – Details and price of the service

The Service is available exclusively in the IKEA Sabadell, IKEA Badalona and IKEA Hospitalet stores and for the delivery postcodes referred to in Appendix I of this document. It allows the Customer who purchases IKEA products in the Circular Market area of these stores to have them transported to their home, in accordance with the terms and conditions set out herein. The Service is strictly limited to the transport of products and expressly excludes, by way of example but not limitation, any other type of service, including disassembly and assembly of the transported products.

The price of the Service will be €29.90 if it concerns the transport of a single product from the Circular Market, regardless of the price of the product.

If the Service is contracted for two or more products from the Circular Market, the price of the Service will be calculated as follows:

  • If the total amount of the Circular Market products purchased and covered by the Service is 299 euros (€), the transport price will be €29.90.
  • If the total amount of the Circular Market products purchased and covered by the Service exceeds 299 euros (€), the transport price will be the amount resulting from applying ten percent (10%) to the total amount of the products purchased.

In any case, the Customer will be informed of the exact price of the transport of the Circular Market items they intend to contract prior to entering into the contract.

THIRD. – Conditions of use of the service

This Service is available exclusively for contracting in the physical Circular Market area of the IKEA stores mentioned in the preceding clause. It is not possible to access the Service via the IKEA website or telephone sales service.

The Service may be used exclusively to transport products from the Circular Market, excluding any other IKEA products the Customer may purchase in the store.

For clarification of how the Service operates, to access it the Customer must go to the IKEA counter located in the Circular Market area of the aforementioned stores and place a sales order that will include both the Circular Market products to be purchased and the transport order, provided that the Customer meets all the requirements for the use of the Service indicated herein. Likewise, in order to formalise the contracting of the Service, the Customer must sign the IKEA services contract that the IKEA co-worker will provide at the time of placing the order.

Once the order, the transport order and the services contract have been formalised, the Customer will collect the Circular Market products and take them to the store checkout area, where they will pay both for the Circular Market products and for the transport order.

After payment, the Customer must personally take the Circular Market products to the Customer Service area designated for this purpose. At the Customer Service area, the Customer must show the IKEA co-worker the transport order so that the IKEA co-worker can verify that the products left there match those included in the transport order.

Additionally, to use the Service, the Customer must take the following specifications into account:

  • The Customer must ensure that all Circular Market products to be transported have the appropriate dimensions to pass through all entrances and accessways of the delivery address without the need for disassembly. Otherwise, IKEA will make delivery at the external entrance of the delivery address, and delivery by IKEA will be considered completed, with no claims admitted from the Customer for damages or losses.

In no case will IKEA carry out the disassembly or subsequent assembly of the transported product, the purpose of the Service being strictly limited to the mere transport of the products from the IKEA store where it was contracted to the Customer’s delivery address.

  • Without prejudice to the above, before placing the product in the Customer Service area for transport, the Customer may disassemble the furniture themselves.
  • All products (or packages, if they have been disassembled) will be packed and properly protected by IKEA for home delivery in their original condition.
  • Under no circumstances may the Service be used for other products purchased in the physical IKEA stores referred to in these terms that do not belong to the Circular Market area.
