I am a professional, how do payments work at IKEA Home?

When a customer accepts your quote, they pay in advance through the IKEA Home platform, either the full amount or a partial amount, depending on the conditions you have set.

  • Instalment payment: The customer pays partially pays when booking the service. This first payment is released once you confirm your arrival at their home and the customer validates it in the app. Afterwards, the platform will automatically request the second payment from the customer before the service begins. This second payment will be released once both you and the customer confirm that the service has been completed successfully. 
 
  • Full payment: If the customer pays the full amount, the money is held securely until you confirm that the service has been completed and the customer then validates it.
