I am an IKEA Home consumer/customer, how do the payments work?

When you accept a service quotation, you pay in advance via the IKEA Home platform. Depending on the conditions stated by the professional, you will be able to pay the whole service or only a part of the total amount.

  • Instalment payment: You partially pay when you book the service. The professional confirms their arrival and, once you validate it in the app, that first payment is released. Before the service begins, the platform will ask you to pay the remaining amount. This second payment is released after both you and the professional confirm that the service has been completed correctly. This option carries no interest for you. 
  • Full payment: If you choose to pay the full amount, the money is kept secure until both you and the professional confirm that the service has been completed.
