What care and maintenance do I need to do with IKEA rugs?
Depending on the model they may have a different maintenance
- Vacuum in the direction of the pile regularly.
- Turn the rugs frequently to make them last longer and prevent them from sticking to the floor over the years.
- Dry stains: remove them immediately by rubbing carefully towards the centre of the stain.
- Damp stains: do not rub; absorb with household paper, dampen with a cloth and a mild cleaner.
- When vacuuming the carpet for cleaning, always use the standard floor attachment, never the rotary brush.
- Do not machine wash.
- Do not bleach.
- Do not tumble dry.
- Do not iron.
- Do not dry clean.
