What is the 3D-Secure payment system?

This is an anti-fraud security control system that guarantees you more security and solid authentication when you use your debit or credit cards to shop on the internet.

Depending on the type of card, this control is also called "MasterCard SecureCode" or "Verified by Visa".

Once you have entered your bank card details, you will be taken to a screen where you will be asked to enter a secret password consisting of a numerical code which, depending on your bank, will be given to you in a different way:
- Sending this numerical code to your mobile phone by SMS.
- Or by means of a coordinates card that your bank will provide you with beforehand and on which you will be able to identify the numerical code unequivocally.

Your financial institution will authenticate the transaction in a few seconds and will also confirm that you are the one making the purchase.

If your bank uses SMS, remember that when you apply for a credit/debit card from a bank, the bank asks you for certain information, one of which is your mobile phone number. If you have changed your mobile phone, we recommend that you contact your bank.

If your bank uses the co-ordinates card as a method of providing you with the security code, they will have given it to you when they sent you the card and the rest of the documentation. If not, we recommend that you contact them so that they can send it to you.
