COPY - What forms of payment are accepted?
At IKEA we make it easy for you. That is why you can make your purchases, either in the store or online, comfortably choosing from the main usual payment methods available.
In our IKEA stores you can pay with VISA, Mastercard, 4B, American Express, our IKEA VISA card, IKEA gift cards, IKEA cashback cards and/or cash. In accordance with Law 11/2021, cash payments are not accepted for transactions equal to or greater than €1000. From 999,99€ onwards, payment must be made by card or cheque.
We accept all types of currency and banknotes of € legal tender, including €500 banknotes.
You can pay by bank transfer with your bank through TRUSTLY, when the delivery time exceeds 5 days. Once you complete the payment process, an email will arrive in your inbox informing you that IKEA has received your request and within the next few hours we will confirm your order.
At IKEA Design points payment can only be made by credit card.
You can pay by gift card or cashback and combine them with the other available payment methods. The maximum amount for gift cards or cashback is €999 and you can only use them for orders not exceeding this amount.
It is not permitted to use several means of payment (any of them being cash or bearer securities) on the same invoice, if the total amount of the invoice is equal to or greater than €1,000. The use of several ways of payment is only permitted if they are all credit and/or debit cards and/or bank cheques made payable to IKEA IBÉRICA, SAU.
IKEA does not offer cash on delivery for any of our products or services.
