What are the different kitchen and bathroom installation services and how do they work?
We have different partners for different services for the different regions in Switzerland.
The installation service is designed to get your dream kitchen or bathroom up and running as smoothly as possible, saving you valuable time and giving you peace of mind.
You will see during the kitchen planning appointment if this service is relevant to you or not. Its price is also dependent on many factors. You will get an estimation after the planning service appointment.
There is no bathroom planning appointment but you can simply ask for it to one our bathroom specialists. The bathroom installation is only performed by the company NeedHelp.

Before the installation – prepare your space
The room must be ready for the installation. The whole area must be accessible and safe. Any work on walls, windows, doorways, ceilings and flooring must be completed. You must also ensure that all utility connections (electrical, plumbing) are in the final correct positions. Also ensure that they have a clear path to access your house.

Your all-round service for all larger (>2.5 m) and complete kitchen installations including installation of worktops, sinks and mixer taps (connection work not included). Disassembly and removal of the old kitchen possible.

Suitable for bathrooms or for extending your existing kitchen, for smaller kitchens (<2.5 m) or if you want to use kitchen furniture for another part of your home, e.g. as a sideboard, showcase, etc. Replacement of electrical appliances and for water/electrical connection work.

Our different regional partners work differently. We cannot give you a detailed process of those services, as some partners do the delivery, assembly and disposal by themselves, some have only the delivery done by IKEA and some delivery and disposal done by IKEA. This cannot be chosen as it's dependent on the service partner connected to the region of your kitchen installation.
