How can I get spare parts at IKEA?

There are three types of spare parts in IKEA: small spare parts, bigger spare parts and spare parts for home appliances. Prices depend on which spare part you need.

If you’d like to renew, improve and/or pro-long the life of your IKEA products, you can get the spare parts you need online (valid for Switzerland and Liechtenstein). Some parts are also available at the Customer service in the stores.
A) Small spare parts (fittings)
Those include screws, knobs, plugs and other similar fittings. They have a 6-8 digit number (called spare part number). The easiest way to find this number is in your product's assembly instructions, on paper with your product or online on the product information, if it still is in sale.
You can then easily order them here online, free of charge. It usually takes up to 10 days to receive them per post.
B) Bigger spare parts (furniture components)
Those are bigger parts of your furniture, like panels or fronts. They do not have a digit number. Such parts are only for free if you had an issue that falls within warranty. Those spare parts need around 3 weeks to be delivered to your address. If you want some extra parts at your cost, you can contact us or your Customer service at store and we'll check if this can be ordered separately and at what cost.
C) Appliance spare parts (for electrical devices)
The spare parts for electrical appliances (so-called white goods) cannot be ordered at IKEA, even if you bought the appliance through IKEA.
a. Product still under warranty
Please read the following procedure for appliance spare parts still under warranty: Electrical appliance damage and defects
b. Product outside warranty
Our third-party provider called ASCI provides you with spare parts for appliances sold up to 10 years ago (except electrical components). They need around 2 weeks to be sent to you.
You can order them on this page: ASCI.
You can read their terms and conditions here.
Be aware that those parts are always at your own costs.
