IKEA Halifax

Yellow heart on a white background.

As the situation with COVID-19 evolves daily in Canada, our top priority continues to be the health and safety of our co-workers, customers and the communities we serve. In accordance with the Province of Nova Scotia’s new regulations, IKEA Canada has temporarily closed our Restaurant location in Halifax as of Wednesday, November 25th, 2020. We thank our customers for their understanding and look forward to welcoming them back to dine with us again soon.

When reopening our stores across the country in June, we voluntarily chose to operate at a lower capacity than we were required to under public health guidelines to ensure a safe shopping environment with enhanced physical distancing measures. At IKEA Halifax, we are operating at 25 per cent or less capacity.

Due to the impact of COVID-19 closures, we are currently experiencing supply delays with our kitchen cabinets. We continue to work with our suppliers to improve the situation and encourage customers to check online to determine product availability.

To check, when viewing a product page, click on the link provided in the ‘store stock’ section. If you want updates, select to be notified when supply is back. Stock updates are made every 24 hours.

Due to system updates and high demand, there is a chance that an item with low stock may not be available for purchase. We appreciate your patience while we work with our suppliers to restock your favourite IKEA products.

You have 365 days to return or exchange your product. To avoid long wait times, IKEA encourages customers to take advantage of its 365-day return policy and return or exchange products at a later time.
