Keeping the heat out

Curtains and blinds can help your home stay at a comfortable temperature. Thicker curtains keep out the sun’s hot rays and different layers in your windows also help insulate your home. Choose cellular blinds, which have a honeycomb structure that traps air, a natural insulator, inside them.

Bed linen that helps keep the temperature right

Many types of fabric can help you stay comfortable in bed. Cotton, viscose, and lyocell, for example, transport moisture away from your body, helping you maintain a nice, even temperature. Linen is highly breathable and heat conducting, keeping you warm in winter and cool in summer.

Cool comfort for your head, too

KLUBBSPORRE and KVARNVEN ergonomic pillows give you comfort and support to help you sleep like a baby. They both also have one special side that cools your head down if you’re too warm.

Some ice could be useful

When the heat is on, a colander full of ice comes in very handy for soothing washcloths, cold drinks, a frozen-water bottle (like a hot-water bottle, only the opposite), and more. It’s a good idea to collect the melted water in a bowl so it doesn’t make a mess.
