Great blanketEmileI bought the twin size to stash on my sofa for those days when you want a blanket, not a throw. I washed it right away and dried it on low heat. It came out perfect. I'm now thinking about getting a queen size. 5 stars.
STINKS!JuliaWhy do IKEA textiles stink now? They never used to. This item wasn’t wrapped, so the excuse the give online would not apply here. The items smell like something you would buy direct from a 3rd world country with questionable manufacturing practices. They’ve clearly altered manufacturing to save money. Do not suggest.
Washed well and kept it's soft and fuzzinessLauraI was worried after reading some of the reviews that this shed and didn't wash well, but I did not have that experience at all! Washed in cold water and hung to dry and it's perfect! Didn't shed, dry in no time, and it's still fluffy and fuzzy and cozy. So happy that we got two! It is a big single size, but that just means you can wrap up!

Can't wash itWayneGot the golden color in the As Is. It's too big as a twin yet too small as a double, go figure. Anyway, based on others reviews I won't chance washing this, so it's a keeper until it really starts to stink then it's a throwaway. Too bad, because it is soft and fluffy.

Awful spreadAnonymous reviewerI loved how soft it was, but when I washed it, it immediately pilled. I put it through multiple wash cycles, tried air dry and low tumble in a dryer to no effect. I lint rolled it, the bed, and rug half a dozen times. I still find pills from the blankets two weeks after returning it.
I really wanted this to work but it was not worth breathing in lint balls forever.
Soft and warm but pills after washingJenniferI bought this blanket in the yellow-brown colour. Love it however after I washed it (in cold water), it pilled and left fuzzies everywhere. I tried re-washing it 3x and it still leaves fuzzies everywhere. Too bad. It's a nice blanket. Would appreciate any suggestions to help with the pilling. Thanks!
Low quality stuff. Fuzz all over place.Nhatbought this brand new in store, yellow color. the first day I wear it to sleep my body and clothes was covered with fuzz and lint. after the the first watch, everything get worse, now it shed all over the place, my pillows are infected with yellow. tried everything to stop or remove the fuzz to no avail, pilling, lintbrush... this is the worst blanket I've ever bought. they blocked my previous review so let's see if this one goes through.
Varying quality between colorsHesterI first purchased the golden brown throw, which was gorgeous and feels very luxurious, soft, fluffy, thick and surprisingly warm. A few weeks later I ordered the off white / cream colored version and it’s so different that I had to doublecheck if I ordered the same product. The cream throw looks and feels inferior: thin, a little tatty, not very nearly stitched and not as fluffy and velvety. I’ll keep it since I can’t be
bordered to return it, since the trip is long and not convenient with public transport,
but if I’d had a car, I’d like up at the customer service desk.
