“With the SANDSBERG series, we worked, as always, to create good, functional design with small means. Light, comfortable pieces of furniture that are easy to move around. We used wood and metal, but mixing materials and optimising material use always mean additional challenges to pass tough test requirements and achieve the best possible price. That’s why we’re extra proud to end our 41-year career at IKEA with this series and curious about how it will be received."
