Kids beds with storage designs

A kid bed with storage underneath turns ‘hiding everything under the bed’ into a good thing! Perfect for tucking toys out of the way, storing bedding and clothing or keeping your little one’s favorite story books at their fingertips, convenient built-in drawers maximize the functionality of your space.

Want room for storing things, but don’t need it built-in? Browse our simple and classic kids single bed styles that allow you to slide clothes storage bags, boxes, bins and more in the open space underneath. Just be sure to take note of the clearance from floor to frame so you know how much height you have to work with.

A kids single bed with a trundle gives you flexibility

Some of our kids beds designs feature a second, separate mattress underneath that can be pulled out for overnight guests. Also commonly known as trundle beds, these also present a unique opportunity for parents to help kids more slowly transition from baby crib to bed.

Consider having your child spend the first few weeks sleeping on the lower single bed. When they’re more confident and ready to ‘step up’ to the next level, consider leaving the trundle bed out the first few nights in case they decide to switch in the middle of the night. In addition to offering a sleep solution toddlers can grow into, a kids single bed that features a second trundle mattress will be beneficial for sleepovers as your child gets older.
