Here's a step-by-step guide to creating your own BESTA in five steps.

The BESTÅ system could possibly be the perfect storage solution. The simple and versatile modules will hide, organise or even showcase all your favourite things, and with so many options to choose from, they will look great doing it. Here's a step-by-step guide to creating your own BESTA in five steps.

1. Select a frame

With the BESTÅ storage system, you can design and customise your own set of storage furniture. First, you need to choose what size you want. You can choose from TV and/or storage cabinets depending on your needs. Then, choose up to four frame colours: white, black-brown, oak effect or dark grey.

2. Select your fronts

There's a multitude of colours and materials for BESTÅ fronts, allowing you to choose the best combination in a style that you love. Choose white, dark brown, herringbone oak veneer, walnut effect, beige, grey-green or black. All available fronts will fit both TV cabinets and any other combination for storage.

3. Add drawers and interior fittings

BESTÅ shelves come in a variety of colours and textures, including glass. And the drawers can be silent closing or push-open. Making BESTÅ versitile for any storage situation. Don't forget to add some small storage boxes, even your smallest items can find a new home.

4. Add legs and top panels

BESTÅ cabinets can easily be hung on the wall. However, if you choose a floor standing combination, you'll need some legs. Adding legs will allow you to personalise your unit even more. A top panel will complement your BESTÅ unit and they come in a multitude of designs and colours making your combination more unique to you.

5. Add handles and lighting

Put the finishing touches on your BESTÅ and make it complete. Lighting adds extra warmth to your space and highlights your favourite items beautifully. With handles or knobs, you add character and bring all the elements together as one. There’s a wide range of styles, colours and materials to choose from, so you’ll always find something that suits you.
