IKEA products are designed in such a way that they're easy to transport yourself. But we're happy to deliver your order to your home too.

Why delivery costs?

At IKEA we like to keep prices as low as possible. This means delivery prices are not included in the prices of our products. At IKEA, you only pay for services that you actually use.

Delivery options and pricing

How quickly you can receive your purchase depends on order size, delivery location, delivery demand and product availability. During online check-out you’ll get available delivery options, estimated lead time and exact prices. Then you can decide what suits you and your wallet.

Parcel delivery

A low delivery price for relatively large products. Did you know that some rolled up mattresses fit in a parcel?

Your order qualifies for parcel delivery if it fits in one parcel, has a minimum value of 25.- and does not exceed 170 x 73 x 53 cm in size or 20 kg in weight.

Weight and price:

0 - 10 kg: 4.99
From 10 - 15 kg: 9.99
From 15 - 20 kg: 14.99

You will receive an email with Track & Trace as soon as the parcel service has received the package from IKEA. You can also track your order by entering your order number here.

We deliver via PostNL or DHL. If you're not home, your package will go to your neighbors or a nearby pickup point. Uncollected packages will be returned after one week, and you'll be reimbursed minus delivery costs.

Truck delivery by one: 39.99

With this delivery service, your order is too large for parcel delivery, but it can still be delivered by one person. This is automatically calculated based on the size and weight of your order.

We deliver your order over the street door threshold of your home or building. From that moment on, you carry your order inside yourself.

Weight and price:

0 - 125 kg (max. 23 kg per individual package*): 39.99

Truck delivery by two from 59.99

With this delivery service, your order is too large for parcel delivery or it has to be delivered by two people. This is automatically calculated based on the size and weight of your order.

We standardly deliver your order over the door threshold of your home or building, ground floor only. From that moment on, you carry your order inside yourself. Choose 'Floor and room of choice' if you prefer delivery on a floor or room of choice. You will then pay an additional fee due to the additional efforts of the delivery team.

0 - 200 kg: 59.99
From 200 - 500 kg: 79.99
From 500 - 5000 kg: 119.99

Weight and price - Floor and room of choice:

0 - 200 kg: 74.98
From 200 - 500 kg: 99.98
From 500 - 5000 kg: 144.98

Please make sure that someone is at home at the indicated time of delivery. If we do not find anyone at home, the transport partner will take all the products back. You can make a new delivery appointment with us by contacting customer service. For each subsequent delivery attempt you will be charged the applicable fee. If we are unable to make a new delivery appointment, the products will be returned to us.

Delivery service for your business

If you order from IKEA as a business owner, colleagues from the IKEA for Business department can assist you with special services, one of them is Delivery service for your business. Do you have an IKEA for Business Network account? You will receive a 10% discount on these delivery service prices. Become a member here.

If you order larger and heavier furniture and products in one of our stores or via our website, we will have it delivered to you by truck.

You can choose your preferred delivery day, and we can deliver during office hours between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. The delivery team will carry the order to your room of choice.

After confirming, you can change the delivery date yourself up to a maximum of 3 days before delivery.

Make sure you have enough space for the delivery people to place your products.

All areas in the building, including but not limited to doors, elevators and stairs, must be sufficiently spacious and free of obstacles so that the products can be delivered in the packaging to the agreed destination.

It is important that you inform us when ordering whether additional resources, such as an external goods lift, are required for delivery, so that we can arrange this for you in time. Costs associated with additional aids will be at your expense.

If the products cannot be delivered to the agreed destination without pre-agreed resources, the service partner will take all products back. We will then contact you to make a new delivery appointment. You will pay the applicable delivery costs for each subsequent delivery attempt. If it is not possible to make a new delivery appointment, we will receive the products back. We will then return your purchase price minus the costs for the truck delivery.

Our truck delivery is provided by our carefully selected service partners. Delivery service for companies is only possible on the Dutch mainland. If you want a product delivered to a Wadden Island, we can arrange delivery to one of the island carriers. Please note: The costs of transport to the island are at your expense.

For larger and heavier products we have the option of an external lift service, which can be ordered extra for €149 if necessary. The service is only available for deliveries from the store and does not apply to purchases purchased and delivered online.
