What is the Second Chance Corner (Tweedekanshoek)?

At IKEA we believe in sustainability. Therefore, we give show models, re-packed products, outgoing products and products which are slightly damaged a new life in our Second Chance Corner.

For each product in the Second Chance Corner, the price, product information, and the reason for resale are indicated. The assortment and quantities vary.

Various IKEA stores also offer our beautiful finds online. You can choose your favorite IKEA store via our website.

Second Chance Corner Terms:

  • You cannot book transportation services for products from the Second Chance Corner.
  • Purchases from the Second Chance Corner come with a standard 2-year warranty, applicable only to functionality.
  • Some items from the Second Chance Corner are sold pre-assembled. You can borrow tools to disassemble them; ask one of our staff members for assistance.
  • The warranty expires based on the reason the item is in the Second Chance Corner; you can find this reason on the product's sticker. In case of damage, the yellow sticker on a sealed package takes precedence.
  • The 90-day exchange guarantee does not apply to mattresses from the Second Chance Corner.
