Are IKEA textiles treated to be fire retardant?

Our textiles are not treated with fire retardants.

Please note that the fire brigade can have rules that apply to IKEA products. These rules usually apply to hotels or other public areas. Many of our products can be treated with fire retardants by external companies. When you do this, please take applicable legislation into account.
