Can I rent a cargo bike at IKEA?

Sometimes you have bought large items that are difficult to get on your own bike. That is why you can rent a cargo bike at IKEA Groningen.

It is possible to rent a cargo bike at IKEA Groningen.
The cargo bikes have dimensions of 180 x 80 cm. The cost of renting a cargo bike is €2.50 per hour.
These conditions apply to renting a cargo bike: 
  • You cannot reserve a cargo bike
  • You can use the cargo bike for a maximum of 3 hours 
  • The maximum load is 300 kg
  • We require a deposit of €100.- 
  • You can only rent a cargo bike upon presentation of a valid ID 
  • You can only rent a cargo bike if it is necessary for transporting your IKEA purchases
  • The cargo bike can be rented up until 90 minutes before the store closing time and needs to be returned 30 minutes before closing time.
