Can I rent a car or a van at IKEA?
Yes, you can. You can rent a van via KAV2GO Autoverhuur (car rental). The KAV2GO vans are stationed in the parking lots of IKEA stores (except at IKEA Delft).
Specifications KAV2GO vehicles
The vans are the Mercedes brand type Vito and have the following specifications:
- Towbar
- Loading space (length x width x height): 244 x 176 x 140 cm
- Load capacity: 750 kg
- Transmission: stick shift

Register at customer service in an IKEA store
If you register with KAV2GO using the registration terminal at one of our stores, the one-off registration fee of €10.- will be refunded to you when you make your first vehicle reservation. You can find the registration terminal in the customer service area of our branches (except for IKEA Delft).
On the invoice of your first vehicle reservation, you will see the €10.- refund of your registration fee, as a discount amount of €8,26. This is the €10.- excluding the VAT. (Your actual discount with the VAT included is €10.-.)
You can only register if you use an address from the Netherlands and if you have a Dutch bank account. Also, please bring the following items:
- Your driver's license
- Your bank card (for the one-off registration fee and the deposit)
- Your mobile phone (for confirming the verification code and opening the vehicle)
Please note: The van must be returned to the IKEA branch where the van was also rented.
