Is LED lighting dimmable?

LED lights are in most cases dimmable. If you have found the lamp of your choice, you can see in the product information whether the lamp is suitable for dimming. If the product is dimmable, this is mentioned in the product information. LED lights can only be dimmed with a special LED dimmer.

The use of a traditional dimmer causes problems for LED lights because they will start to blink, buzz or vibrate. This causes damage to the lamp. Therefore, there are special dimmers for LED lights.

The smart LED bulbs from the TRÅDFRI series are dimmable, and some of them can even change colors.
