Which lighting is suitable for my bathroom?

All LED lights (light sources) are suitable for use in the bathroom. Do take into account the IP classification of the fixture.

All our bathroom lights are double insulated, as required by EU regulations. Double insulation means that the wires are mounted in such a way that no short circuit can occur. Furthermore, all bathroom lighting must have an IP rating and be designed for use in the bathroom. In this video, we explain which zones you have.

Zone 1 is the most wet area in your bathroom.
For example, in the bath or shower area. Here you use lighting with a high IP rating, at least IP65.

Zone 2 is the third wettest part of your bathroom.
For example, right next to the shower cubicle, around the sink or around the bathtub. For this area, you should use lighting with a minimum IP44 rating.

Zone 3 is the least wet part of your bathroom.
Here you place lights that have no direct contact with water droplets, but which can be affected by condensation. For this part at least IP21 is sufficient.

Because of these safety standards, our bathroom lighting does not have a switch on the lighting itself. The lights must be operated with a wall switch.
