What is IKEA's business concept?

We have a passion for life at home. And for anyone who has visited IKEA, the idea for the business concept is quite obvious - "to offer a wide variety of well-designed, functional home furnishing products at prices so low that as many people as possible can afford them."

That means that we have to make products with a beautiful design, good functions, that are durable, of good quality and available at a low price. We call this "Democratic Design" because we believe that good home furnishing is for everyone.
