Which standards does IKEA’s office furniture meet?

In Europe and the Netherlands, various standards are used to test the quality of office furniture. IKEA’s products meet all NEN EN standards for use in an office.

IKEA’s desks that are suitable for business use comply with the NEN EN standards 527-2, 15372, and 1730. All office and gaming chairs suitable for business use meet the European NEN EN 1335 standard.

In the Netherlands, the Dutch Practice Guideline (NPR) 1813 is also applied to chairs because the Dutch are taller than average. Since IKEA’s products are developed for the international market and are not adapted for the Dutch market, the office and gaming chairs do not qualify for this guideline.

How do I see if a product is suitable for business use?
All these products on IKEA.nl have a stamp next to the product image that says Suitable for business.
