We're happy with the quality and the sturdiness, however, the strips of wood that go between the draws need to be coated as it's rough wood and no matter how I fold the clothes the strip of wood catches on the clothes leaving behind tiny pieces of wood stuck to the item and I'm finding that the strip of wood I restricting how many item of clothes I can put in the draw.4
Great drawer setAnonymous reviewerI have a fair bit of Malm furniture, this piece was to add to my existing bedroom set, so I knew it suited the purpose. What I didn’t know was that IKEA had CHANGED THE COLOUR!
So frustrating. It was going next to another set of drawers that are muck darker. I’ve switched every other of the wider drawers with the other set so it looks like it’s meant to be ‘stripey! But so frustrating that they should change the colour of a long standing design.4

However I heard very good things from family so went ahead and ordered this, after a well known furniture shop kept sending me damaged items. I selected to pick up from a Tesco car park which was very handy. To my delight the box was undamaged and the item well protected - pristine condition. Hubby put it together no issues and it looks top quality and sturdy, Very impressed, so will be ordering from ikea in future :)5

Worth every pennyAnonymous reviewerThe drawers are amazing and I have lots of the malm drawers now including the six large low drawers. Very sturdy and you can fit loads in all the drawers. I swapped from another six set I had and have ended up with two empty (not for long though!) I’d recommend these to anyone, they’re one of the best things I’ve ever bought5

The only downside about this product is complicated assembly. There is an instruction booklets but still it’s difficult to assemble.
