The items in this range are easy to assemble, sturdy and look great. What’s not to love about malm? I like my malm plain white with no flourishes but you can dress them up if you like, go for a gloss finish and add a glass top or handles if you like. Run! Don’t walk to buy your malm before they disappear.

A few minor defects that I wasn’t too happy about but as I had basically built them before spotting and one issue was only noticeable once assembled, I couldn’t be bothered to complain or travel to the store to return them after paying delivery. Like I said they were minor but still disappointing.
Overall through the drawers look great and fit plenty of clothes in.

I purchased the Malm 6 draws . I had them fitted by ikea and I recommend this service as the man assembled it quickly and looks beautiful.
It’s spacious and draws glide open a very smooth mechanism.
I would have no hesitation in recommending the malm chest of draws
( 6 draws).
Paying for the fitting is worth the money.

Quite easy instructions to follow, however the quality of them was not good.
For the main sections across the front was very poor quality chipboard, the plastic fastenings were rubbish particulary if you put pressure on them.
Has made me think twice about going to Ikea for anymore furniture
Great and well made, stillAnonymous reviewerPut a set of these up a day or so ago, and I will certainly vouch for their quality. They are well made and go together very well. Drawers are deep well made (supported in the middle underneath on the larger drawers) and they certainly feel like they will last a long time. I know people who have had these drawers for years and there is no reason to think these would be any different.
One word of advice, these are very easy(if inductions are followed in order) to put together however, if you struggle with weight of things it may be advisable to pay for them to be built as they come in 3 packages and they are all pretty heavy. That been said it's not a reason not to get them
