TRÅDFRI Gateway kit

The TRÅDFRI Gateway (TRÅDFRI means wireless, by the way) is your gateway to a smart home. You need the central control unit to use the TRÅDFRI Smart Home App (we'll come to that). If you have purchased the TRÅDFRI set with gateway (or just the gateway) it's possible to create and control lighting groups in your home.

How to install the gateway in your home? It's simple: plug it into a power outlet and connect it to your router via a network cable. Watch the video and learn how to get started with the TRÅDFRI gateway kit.

TRÅDFRI dimming kit (white spectrum)

Next step on your way to the Smart Home: the TRÅDFRI remote control. You can use it to control your light sources and assign lamps to the gateway and the app. Whether light panels, LED doors or LED lights, the wireless control allows you to change the light color, control the brightness and even dim your lights. It's important to use light sources from IKEA's Smart lighting series - otherwise you won't get far with even the greatest remote.

TRÅDFRI dimming kit (warm white)

At the touch of a finger you can change the colour and intensity of the light from the sofa or bed, making the light and your mood brighter. With our wireless TRÅDFRI dimmers you are the light mood maker in your home. With the TRÅDFRI dimmer sets you can precisely determine the brightness. You can easily control the light with the TRÅDFRI App or the included wireless dimmer. You can also create a connection to the Apple Home App or Amazon Alexa and control the exposure via voice control or Siri. It's always as comfortable as you want it to be.

TRÅDFRI motion sensor kit

Motion detectors can do two things very well: they increase safety and comfort in your home and they help you save energy and money because motion detectors only emit light when it's really needed. With the TRÅDFRI set with motion detector you can set whether the motion detector should only work in the dark or also in sunlight. You can also set the intervals at which the light should go out when the sensor stops moving.

Open the lid on the back of the motion sensor and install the included batteries. Set the symbol on the moon to have the light triggered by the motion sensor only when it’s dark, or set it on the sun sensor to have it work when it’s daylight. You can also set the time to have it turn off after 1, 5 or 10 minutes of no motion.
