3D-Secure Information

3D Secure is not your credit card PIN number but an additional security measure for online credit card transactions. In order to make a credit card purchase at IKEA.ch, you need to be registered with your credit card provider’s 3D Secure programme. If you are not yet registered, you can do so now in the online checkout process or contact your credit card provider directly.

At IKEA, we believe that your personal information deserves to be treated with the highest priority and care. Verified by VISA, MasterCard SecureCode and American Express SafeKey are part of the “3D Secure” program developed by the credit card industry, of which IKEA Canada is a participant. The program is designed to ensure the safety and security of online transactions. For this reason, at the payment stage of your order on IKEA.ch, you may be directed to your credit card's secure payment page.If you do not have a Verified by VISA, MasterCard SecureCode or American Express SafeKey password registered at time of checkout (not your banking PIN or IKEA.ch password), you can enroll in the program at the payment step by clicking on the link “I am not enrolled in Verified by Visa/Mastercard Secure code/American Express SafeKey” which will redirect you to the your credit card’s issuing bank to set up your account. For further inquiries, we would suggest contacting your financial institution.

• Available in digital form or as a physical card.
• Simply pay at the checkout or select the “Gift card” payment method when placing your order online.
• It is also possible to combine a gift card payment with a credit card payment.
• We accept most gift cards that have been issued in other countries.

If you have returned products, you will receive a refund card with the refund value as credit. You can use this as a means of payment in-store and online, in the same way you would use an IKEA gift card.

In the online shop, we offer the option of purchasing on account in cooperation with our partner Swissbilling. After receiving your order, Swissbilling will send you the invoice with payment instructions by e-mail or post, with a payment deadline of 30 days. The invoice can also be paid in 2 or 3 instalments.

Please note that you need the PIN of your PostFinance Card and your PostFinance card reader for online payments over CHF 500.00. From CHF 500.00 (total of all your online transactions per month) you also need the personal PIN of your card and the card reader.

In our stores, you can make cash payments in Swiss francs or in euros. Please note that any change is always paid out in Swiss francs. Please note that we cannot accept cash payments at our Plan and order points.

You can pay with One4All gift cards in our stores and plan and order points, please note that a maximum of six One4All gift cards can be redeemed per purchase.
