Product review FAQ

In this article, you will find frequently asked questions about ratings and reviews of IKEA products.

How can I submit a product review?

You can rate and comment on your IKEA products in four easy steps. Here you'll find the detailed instructions for your IKEA product review.

Which products can I rate?

You can rate all products that have their own information page on IKEA.ch.
The product information page is the one where you can find the item number, measurements and availability of the product. You can also rate IKEA products that you've not bought yourself. However, you should already have experience with the product in question to be able to give an honest product review.

Who can read my product review?

Everyone who visits our website IKEA.ch can read your product review. Please note, however, that it may take a few days before your review is published online.

When will my product review appear?

It may take a few days before you can see your review on our website. As all product reviews are checked for compliance with our terms of use and privacy policy, it may take a few days before they appear on IKEA.ch for the respective products. If your product review doesn't comply with our terms of use and privacy policy, we'll notify you by email and you'll be able to submit a new review.

Will IKEA respond to my product review?

It depends on your product review whether a response from us is necessary. If necessary, IKEA Customer Service will contact you by email and respond to your review. If the response is relevant to other customers, we'll respond publicly on IKEA.ch (below your product review). If we reply publicly, we'll send you a notification by email.
