What kitchen layouts are possible with an IKEA kitchen?

Our kitchens support any space and lifestyle you may have!

Here is a list of all kitchen layouts, depending on the space you have.
The list goes from smaller to bigger spaces:

a. Linear kitchen:
They're simple, streamlined, and look great. In this layout, all your kitchen cabinets and appliances are placed along a single wall in a straight line.
b. Parallel kitchen:
Parallel kitchens are ideal if you have a small space with a door or window at either end. There is lots of room for food preparation and storage too. In this layout, your kitchen is divided over two opposing walls, where usually one side is dedicated to your sink and the other to your cooking hob.
c. L-shaped kitchen:
In this layout, your kitchen is divided over two walls that meet in a corner, where the kitchen worktop is connected. Usually, one wall is dedicated to your sink and the other to your cooking hob.
d. U-shaped kitchen:
If you have a large room the U-shaped layout is ideal. It gives you maximum space and plenty of storage options. In this layout, your kitchen is divided over three walls that meet in two places in a corner, where the kitchen worktop connects all three sides together.
e. Kitchen with an island:
Adding an island to your kitchen gives you extra storage, lots of workspace plus it's a great social point. If you want to know if an island will fit in your space, make sure you have at least 120cm of walking space between your kitchen island and the wall cabinets.
