Does IKEA also recall the plugs from the LEDLJUS, SOMMARLÅNKE, STRÅLA, SVARTRÅ and UTSUND product families?

No, Switzerland is not affected by this recall.

In Germany and Austria, IKEA is recalling certain outdoor LED fairy lights and lamps with a non-compliant plug from the LEDLJUS, SOMMARLÅNKE, STRÅLA, SVARTRÅ and UTSUND product families.

IKEA Switzerland is not affected by this and customers can use the items in question without further ado.

Customers who own one of the affected products should immediately stop using it and contact IKEA for a replacement product or full refund. Additionally, IKEA encourages customers to spread the word about this recall, especially if they know that the recalled product was offered, lent or sold to someone else.

Affected products can be returned to any IKEA store for a replacement product or full refund Proof of purchase (i.e. a receipt) is not required.
