What is the IKEA’s view on children’s rights ?
At IKEA we believe that children are the most important people in the world.
We want the home to be a place where families with children like to play more and live their dreams together. We are committed to ensuring that children's rights are taken into account in everything we do. We stand on a foundation consisting of four commitments to children. Our approach is always from the child's perspective, safety is one of the prerequisites.
Everything we do is built on knowledge and we ensure that we have a positive impact on people and the planet. We firmly believe that children have the right to be heard. Children are seen as democratic beings with a specific expertise in being a child. We also want to involve children in order to create better products together with the real play experts.
